What tourist attractions in Scotland do you recommend?
I’m doing a project on the top tourist attractions in Scotland and want to talk about the most interesting ones.
However, castles are excluded (I can’t talk about castles as someone else is already doing this topic).
Loch Ness.
Thats about it, oh they have some hills to look at.
Information on Brisbane Australia, regarding holiday work hours for tourist attractions?
Im travelling to Brisbane Australia at the end of march. Actually, Ill be there over the Easter weekend. Does anyone know if all or most of the business’/tourist attractions are closed or have shortened hours for Good Friday, Easter sunday and/or Easter monday? Im worried that when I get there, nothing will be open, and Ill be stuck with nowhere to go. Also, does anyone know of any cant-miss tourist attractions in or around Brisbane? Thanks,
I think most things will be closed.
Some things that will more than likely be open and that you can do include
- going to Mt Cootha Lookout over Brisbane – lovely views. And visit the botanical gardens whilst your there if they are open.
- take a city cat down the brisbane river – can catch it in the city. Visit South Bank – have a swim in the man made beach.
- Lone Pine is open – sit with the kangaroos! Can pet and feed them! http://www.koala.net/index.htm
email them and see if they are open – but they will be from what I read.
- Dreamworld is open on the Gold Coast which is only 35-45min from Brisbane. Its lots of fun!
I would say the other parks would be open to as Dreamworld is. Seaworld, Movieworld and WetNWild. Just google them. ie Seaworld Australia. Dreamworld is definetly open though.
- Visit the beaches on the Gold Coast.

What are the best tourist attractions in California?
Please give me your favourite tourist attractions in California with reasons if possible. Thanks.
The most beautiful place in California is Yosemite National Park. Nothing else compares. The huge granite mountains are truly awesome. The park is beautiful in any season but the waterfalls are most spectacular in the spring. For more info visit their web site: http://www.nps.gov/yose/
Disneyland is a great place to visit if you have children. It’s a great place….I always have fun there. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/home/home?name=HomePage&bhcp=1
I love San Diego. This coastal city is famous for its mild year round weather and many outdoor activities to do. There are so many nice beaches here and spectacular sunsets. http://www.sandiego-romantics.com.
Napa Valley is California’s foremost wine region…though great wines are produced in other sections of the state as well. Napa is a beautiful valley…the rolling hills covered with vineyards makes for gorgeous scenery. http://www.cheers2wine.com/Napa-Valley-Wine-Tour.html
