Can anyone suggest any package tours or tourist guides for travel in thailand?
My family and I are travelling to Thailand on the 15th of October. We want to make the most of our trip there. However, we are only going there for 7 days. My parents believe that we can travel the country properly if we have a tourist guide with us or if we are part of a package tour. Then we can actually visit places without having our money wasted. At the same time, we also want to do shopping. If anyone could suggest some package tours or tourist guides which are affordable, it would be great.

You can book your hotel and tour of choice upon arrival at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport near Bangkok. They offer wide selection and prices are very reasonable.
Alternatively, most hotels in Bangkok and rest of Thailand have counters of tour agencies to facilitate tourists to book a sightseeing trip of their choice.

if you are staying in bangkok, when arriving to your hotel, you can ask staff for tours offered,…
there are tours that are half a day or a whole day.
the ones id recommend are the river boat tours, dinner river boat tour, floating market tour and the ancient city tour (which is a whole day tour)
if in phuket, you defenitely have so much to do.
going to phi phi island by speed boat. what you do is island hopping (which you can do shopping too) and your lunch is provided.
sea canoeing has been the most beautiful and amazing experience…
theres snorkling tour in coral island
4 in 1 safari tour
elephant safari
sail on hong during sunset or under the stars
i listed my source check it out and click on the link below. theres so much to do.
either phuket or click on the bangkok link.
i recommend if you can to book your tour in advance… i mean the high season is just about to start. but its very easy to book once you arrive in thailand.

Actually, it’s a good idea to have a Thai person with you. Though many Thai speak english, it helps to have a Thai person with you to sometimes get a good deal.
The below link is to a site that has various links to websites related to Thailand. I checked it for tour guides and this is what came up.

From that list were a couple that seemed promising.

I have not used a tour guide. I had friends of friends that I met there help me out the first few times I was visited Thailand.
Other sites to check are:
http://www.bangkok.com for things to do in Bangkok
http://www.a2zpattaya.com for things to do in Pattaya
Don’t try to do too much then you cannot enjoy the trip. I would suggest seeing Bangkok and either Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi or Hua Hin. Chiang Mai is in the mountains and it is cool there. Phuket is an island resort, Krabi is on the mainland close to Phuket. Hua Hin and Pattaya are seaside resort areas both with 2 hours of Bangkok.
There is a boat ride tour to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital that takes a day to do. And other options.
Good luck
