When a tourist arrives in a new location he requires various information about the place. To fulfill his needs the required information has to be provided in accurate and timely manner. Providing it almost 24 hours a day is not an easy task. Manning such information counters 2 or 3 shifts a day is an expensive exercise.

I spend the day in Ginza. Located in the very heart of the city, east of the imperial palace this is primarily a place for high end shopping during the day, and business men who work in the area to go party at night.

I have included lots of recommendations, but especially check out the JNTO tourist information Center and ask for their monthly event calendar.
