Has anybody been to either of these Dominican Republic Resorts?
So my family and I are trying to decide which of these resorts to go to on spring break. Has anybody been to the Bavaro Princess, Riu Palace Maccao, or the Riu Bambu? Reviews or comparing the resorts?

The best of the 3 is The Riu Palace Maccao.

for the excellent service and animation (day/night).

I am staying the Riu Palace Macao in December. I have heard great things about it and not so much about the other two.
I did ALOT of research before choosing which resort to stay at in the dominican and I think i made the best choice. I also said at the RIU ocho rios in Jamaica last year and it was incredible, so it gave me confidence in the RIU name.

I havn’t stayed at any of those particular resorts I have however, stayed at Riu Mambo in Puerto Plata. I absolutely loved it.
I have stayed at various Riu hotels and they certainly live up to expectations. Whichever Riu hotel you stay at I trust you will have a fabulous time.
I can recommend Riu Mambo though in Puerto Plata where they have the best beaches + best entertainment/ excursions and things to do.
See trip advisor for various reviews from people who have experienced particular resorts. From what I have saw they have always been correct. I always trust them.
Its definitely worth researching Riu Mambo though – GREAT for families 10/10. Very good deals online too.
