Where can I find the best deals on Canadian vacation packages?
I would like to plan a family vacation for four to Canada this upcoming year. What websites should I visit for good info?
Expedia is a good site to consider. Do you know where in Canada it is that you would like to visit? If so, I can provide you with specific Web sites for that region.
Which vacation packages would you recommend? Near a beach which include everything?
I am going on my honeymoon in a few months. We are so busy we do not want to plan a vacation. We are looking for a vacation package near a beach. Which includes activities like surfing, snorkeling, and dinning.
Our only idea was Club Med. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Sandals resorts are only for couples, which means there will be lots of people kissing but no kids running around. You decide how much romance you can handle! They’re very all-inclusive, meaning that diving, waterskiing, sailing, etc. are all included. You only pay extra for spa services. All the resorts are in the Carribbean.
Where can I find vacation packages to Universal Studios Florida?
Orlando Floria Universal Studios vacation packages
We are driving from Texas to Southern Illinois to see family and then will travel, by van, to Florida from there. We would like to be as close as possible to Universal Studios, hotel accomodations and passes included to Universal would be great! I am calling my travel agent this week but would like a bit more info on the area, how things work, if ppl can recommend vacation packages. Thanks!
Universal has some pretty good packages. They usually offer kids free including dining, tickets and stay. So if you have kids, it can save quite a bit of money.
All the Universal Hotels are great and so are the parks. There are a lot of options, I suggest going here: http://www.universalorlando.com/vp_index.html to look at them and see what is offered. You can also work with your travel agent, it is really a lot easier to plan.
Hope this helps!
Looking for cheapest rates for Vacation packages? Hawaii in particular!?
I don’t mean a few bucks off here & there – are there any wholesale discount sites that offer vacation packages or deeply discounted hotel rates or….? Our blended family is planning our summer vacation & we want to go to Hawaii but have double the guests now so we really need to save! Any recommendations welcome, thanks!
Yes, I know what kind of site you mean, especially if you’re looking for Hawaii – you want to look for a site that offers bulk rates for companies or team events. These are harder & harder to come by as rates go up for everything but the best such site I’ve found is www.corporatetravelgifts.com. They used to only offer bulk pricing for large companies but are now open to the public so anyone can buy a vacation package for super cheap.
I can personally vouch for the Hawaii pckg & Vegas pck, which I have used myself, & my brother used the all inclusive Cancun w/his girlfriend & had no complaints. Other sites like expedia, etc are ok for package deals but if you can be a little flexible & really NEED to save some serious $$, your best bet is to buy from a wholesale broker like them or someone similar. Good luck & Aloha!

Great vacation packages for couples?
My parents will celebrate their 25th anniversary this year of being married. I want to do something really special for them. I want to know if there are any great websites I can go to that will help me with planning romantic getaways. I would like them to go on a vacation that has an itinerary/schedule of things to do. For example, a day full of events where transportation, food, entertainment, etc… are all included in the package. Any suggestions?
The two best options would either be the full Sybaris suites experience that includes massages or send them on a cruise to someplace they’ve always wanted to go to. Go with a Travel Agent because they can find the very best deals and plan it all out for you. Good luck. I think that is very sweet of you to do that and your parents are very lucky to have such a thoughtful child.
Best vacation packages for a 20 year old couple?
I was wondering what would be the best vacation for myself (19) and my girlfriend (20). I know most cruises require you to be 21 and some hotels are also picky about age requirements. We both are college students in San Diego and have a fairly limited budget (500-1000) to work with. Any suggestions of packages or companies where we would get the most value for our money? Thanks
Carnival Cruise. $1500 for the both of you and it is AWESOME. great drinks and food. Awesome excursions like swiming with sting rays and stuff. Great shows, great music. Pools and great destinations. My hubby and I took one for our honeymoon back in 05. We were your age then and we had a blast! Do it through a traval agent so you get better deals!
What is a good website to find vacation destinations / vacation packages in the British Virgin Islands?
My boyfriend and I want to plan a romantic getaway (maybe a honeymoon) in the British Virgin Islands. All of the websites I have been to so far don’t seem to be legitimate, and I have heard of nightmare scenarios like vacation scams. I don’t want that to happen to me. My question is… Is there a website with a good reputation that can help us plan our dream vacation in the British Virgin Islands?
I wonder where you’re coming from.
If you’re from U.K., you can consider Newmont Travel as my ‘mother-in-law’ uses:
http://www.newmont.co.uk/
Or Opodo that one of my few friends there used recently:
http://www.opodo.co.uk/
If you’re from the U.S., I recommend Apple Vacations and here’s a link direct to British Virgin vacations with them:
http://applevacations.com/showDestination.do?command=showDestination&destinationCode=BVI
If from Canada, I recommend RedTag and a few others such as FareStore, Target vacations and FlightNetwork:
http://www.redtag.ca/
http://www.farestore.com/
http://www.targetvacations.ca/
http://www.flightnetwork.com/
Hope this helps.

Has Anyone Ever Taken One of Those Vacation Packages Where They Try To Sell A Timeshare?
Recently, I signed on for what seemed to be an excellent vacation package. Two nights stay at a Williamsburg, VA resort w/two adult tickets to Busch Gardens included – all for only $89. Additionally, they are claiming they will give me two more nights at another time – FREE of charge – to return.
Upon verifying this package, I realized it is a time share selling package. You get this rate – but you have to devote an hour and a half to them dragging you around the resort and attempting to sell you a timeshare in it. There’s no obligation to buy (supposedly) – but you have to at least take the tour and participate to get the rate and return package deal. The return trip doesn’t include the hour and a half tour again.
Has anyone ever done this? Did they make you sign anything? Is putting up with the tour and timeshare selling attempts worth it for the trip or is this a scam that will only inconvenience me and my family on our vacation?
You’ll leave with a timeshare! Don’t do it unless you really want a timeshare.
You can’t get the tickets to the attractions if you don’t go. My trip included a stay at a hotel, and a cruise and you couldn’t get the tickets to the cruise if you didn’t sit through the timeshare stuff. But it wasn’t as simple as touring the timeshare. You sit around until you basically either convince them you can’t afford it (which you can…they make sure of that) or you sign the papers and put the down payment on a timeshare.
Then your phone number is in the system and they call you over and over again until you sign up for another b/c now you’re a "hot" lead…someone’s that bought before. Or you are a warm lead because you’ve taken the package and you may take another one.
Good luck! They aren’t worth it if you ask me and I’ll never do it again…cruise or not!
