What cruise line do you reccomend for a family vacation?

Author: I mean a large family vacation. Maybe 15 or so people. Two are 18 & 20, the rest are all over 30.
suggestions? or even horror stories about ones we should take?

Arthur’s What is a good place to take a family vacation during Christmas time?
PLEASE IN THE USA!
I would like to take a family vacation either the week before or after Christmas. I’ve been looking at Texas and Arizona so far. Are these good places?
I’ve never been to either of this destinations around Christmas time, so I can’t comment on those.
But I would definately recommend checking on a Disney vacation. I have done this for many years now and I can tell you that the Disney Cruise, Disney World and Disneyland are beautiful and amazing during Christmas. I love to go during this time and kids will love it as well. The shows are great, the weather is nice and is just a great time. I have gone other places during Christmas time and I don’t think anything compares to Disney. However, I have gone to Tennessee over Christmas and it was beautiful. I remember we went to bed one night and it was spring like weather, woke up and it was covered in snow, it was beautiful. So this will give you a few options, but again, I have never gone to the destinations you listed over Christmas, so I really don’t know what it is like during this time.

Which of these Mexican cities would be best to go to on a family vacation?
Me and my two daughters, (14 and 17) are planning on going on a mexican vacation this spring break. We are considering a few places: Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos or the Mayan Rivera. Which one of these cities is best for a family vacation? We are looking for a city with lots of attractions and fun things to do. Also, I’m looking for any good resorts in these areas. Thank you!
The Mayan Riviera is the only one that is located on the Caribbean side. I much prefer the caribbean to the Pacific side. The water is so much warmer and it’s that beautiful turquoise blue. On the Pacific side, it’s rough and cold.
Stay in Playa del Carmen (fly to Cancun, PDC is 40 minutes south), You don’t mention if you want an AI or not. I put a link to the Riu AI (very nice, kid friendly) and to a really nice condo complex. I personally prefer the condo because you have a kitchen to stock with all the things that teenagers like, they can sleep late, and you can still be up in the living room or on the deck. Check out the webcams on the condo site. What a great beach and pool! The nice thing about this condo is it is really close to downtown, so you don’t need to worry about a car or Taxis. Plus, it’s in the gated community of Playacar with 24 hour security.
For things to do: Try Xcaret, Xplor, Tulum, Chichen Itza, take the ferry to Cozumel. I put links for you to look at. 5th Avenue in PDC is a really fun area for shopping and restaurants.

Where is the best family vacation spot in Florida?
I want to plan a family vacation to Florida, but where? Also what are some fun things to do there. We are driving from Louisiana two adults and 5 kids ranging from 17- 2.
Orlando and surrounding areas are great for families, but my personal choice are the Florida Keys.

Where should I take an eleven month old on first family vacation?
My husband and I go on vacation every year. We want to go on vacation in late August when my son will be about 11 months. Where do you suppose we take our first family vacation? If you know of a specific hotel in the region you are suggesting, please include it.

I suggest a cruise. You can select any type of ship, activities, locations, cruiseline, price range you want and they have babysitting available for some time when you want to have dinner or go out on a date with your hubby. Last I saw they hand you a pager in case the baby needs you.
Arthur’s Family Vacation 2
Arthur wants to go back to Camp Meadowcroak (from “Arthur Goes to Camp”) with Buster for the summer and tries to get out of the family vacation to the beach. He changes his mind with the mention of lobster and after several impediments, they finally make it to the beach. They lose their hotel reservation and stay in a leaky rundown hotel. Things eventually start to get better.
